Nepal government has announced to celebrate Visit Nepal Year 2020 with an aim to welcome two millions tourists by the year 2020. As an complimentary initiative to Nepal government’s vision Non-resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has announced to celebrate 2019 as a Tourism Promotion year for Nepal.

Last year NRNA (Non-Resident Nepali Association) had announced to conduct promotional campaigns to celebrate 2019 as “Tourism Promotion Year” and they had planned to conduct campaign in 80 countries across the world where Nepali’s are currently residing. With this initiative he hopes to support government’s vision to bring in two millions tourists by 2020.

On July 21, as a part of this campaign Non-resident Nepalis living in the US started public campaign for ‘Visit Nepal 2020’ from Maryland. In “Visit Nepal 2020” program organized in Maryland, state delegates Harry Bhandari and Consul General, Prem Raja Mahat jointly unveiled a banner reading the slogan ‘Let us Visit Nepal, Send Others to Visit Nepal’. Raju Parajuli has been appointed as the coordinator of this campaign.
